Once more, let me apologize for the delay. We keep hitting unexpected problems. Don’t worry, we’re as committed as ever to making a great Dictamus version for Android, but we’ll need some more time. Variable playback speed between 0.75x and 2x without pitch shift will be supported in Dictamus 10 (due April 2012).

dictamus needs a lot of time for audio converting before the export via WLAN is started. Please accelerate this procedure!

Voice Activation and Cutting Words Short

Currrently Voice Activations eems to cut short the first part of the first word you speak after a period of silence. I often lose "the" and "A" when I start a sentence.

Have low, medium, and high recording quality settings (for different file sizes)

Please allow different recording quality settings (such as low, medium, and high; or choice of different sampling rates). This way the audio file generated can be smaller if needed.

We will implement this in an upcoming release. We cannot add lower sampling rates because audio quality declines rapidly below 11025 Hz (the current rate), but we will offer 22050 Hz and 44100 Hz for improved audio quality.

Sirs: The upload option to iDisk is quite nice, and I have been using it for nearly a year. Yet, I upload multiple voice files and then download them to my computer. A direct multi file transfer would be very useful.

Use the proximity sensor to disable the keys

When dictating while holding the iPhone next to one's cheek, the recording button can be accidentally pushed, leading to a pause unknown to the operator. The proximity sensors could be used to disable the screen keys.

Wenn man einen Anruf erhält oder tätigt, so stoppt Dictamus die Aufzeichnung. Kann eine Option eingebaut werden, die eine automatische Weiterführung der Aufzeichnung nach dem Anruf bewirkt? Vielen Dank.
